This project is a key PV and BESS storage integrated initiative in the DRC, developed by CrossBoundary Energy. As a strategically important largescale mining infrastructure project, the Kamoa Mine imposes stringent requirements on the stability, safety and intelligence of the power supply system. At the client’s invitation, our company has deeply participated in the core scope, supplying EHouse, mediumvoltage switchgears and SCADA system.
The scope covers the design, engineering, manufacturing and factory acceptance test (FAT) of MV switchgear and associated ehouse, as well as onsite installation supervision, commissioning and detailed electrical design support for the substation.
Throughout project execution, we provided fullcycle delivery of MV switchgear and EHouse, including design, manufacturing, FAT and onsite technical services. Through efficient collaboration with international teams and domestic factories, we fully met the client’s technical and commercial requirements for grid connection, providing reliable support for the energy infrastructure of the Kamoa Mine.
During implementation, the project overcame multiple challenges including technical design changes, ocean transportation and tight delivery schedules, which tested our capabilities in technology, project management, seaworthy packaging and cost control. The team strictly controlled milestones and successfully delivered the project with outstanding performance in cost, delivery and quality, winning high recognition from the client.
